Overview

Xiaomi’s App Vault (com.miui.personalassistant) serves as the swipe-left auxiliary screen on HyperOS and MIUI launchers, hosting interactive widgets, device shortcuts, health metrics, and information cards. On budget and mid-tier devices, Xiaomi commonly strips background blur effects—replacing them with flat grey or opaque panels—and hides advanced interactive widgets reserved for flagship handsets.

Modified by developer Kashi through Mods-Center, HyperOS-App-Vault is a systemless enhancement module that installs a feature-unlocked edition of the application based on optimized Xiaomi.eu builds.

Key Enhancements

  • Frosted Glassy Blur: Restores dynamic background blur for widget containers, allowing wallpaper tones to filter softly behind cards.
  • High-End Feature Spoofing: Includes an internal toggle that identifies the handset as a top-tier Xiaomi flagship, unlocking hidden widget designs, complex data visualizers, and battery monitor tiles.
  • Blur Customization: Adjust and fine-tune blur opacity and radius directly within App Vault settings.
  • Fluid Feed Animations: Eliminates interface stutter when swiping into and out of the App Vault panel from the default launcher.

Installation Guidelines

  1. Android 14+ Prerequisite: If running Android 14 or above on Global or China ROMs, flash the Apk Protection Patch first to allow modified system packages.
  2. Download HyperOS_AppVaultV*.zip from the project’s releases.
  3. Open Magisk Manager or KernelSU, install the zip archive, and reboot.
  4. Swipe left from your home screen or long-press your wallpaper to access the enriched widget collection.
