Overview

Modern Android hardware features powerful multi-core processors, yet stock OEM kernel configurations frequently suffer from micro-stutters, delayed touch dispatch, and aggressive background task slaughtering due to misaligned energy models and governor settings.

Developed by RAAJK20Pro, KernelEnhancer is an advanced systemless kernel tuning module. Engineered to prioritize frame consistency, fluid multitasking, and balanced power usage, KernelEnhancer delivers a noticeably more responsive user experience during daily scrolling, app launches, and prolonged gaming sessions.

Core Tuning Focus Areas

  1. Scheduler & Governor Pacing: Calibrates CPU governor polling rates and downscale thresholds. Instead of violently ramping clocks to maximum frequency on minor touch inputs, it balances cluster residency to keep UI threads consistently on mid-frequency sweet spots.
  2. Virtual Memory Tuning: Optimizes vm.dirty_ratio, vm.dirty_background_ratio, and cache pressure parameters. This ensures smooth writebacks to internal flash storage without blocking foreground UI threads.
  3. Task Placement & Multitasking: Refines energy-aware scheduling parameters to improve background app retention and minimize cold app relaunches.
  4. I/O Queue Optimization: Streamlines block device queue depths, eliminating I/O bottlenecks when writing extensive game assets or caching photos.

Compatibility & Installation

KernelEnhancer utilizes generic Linux kernel subsystems and works across devices powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon, MediaTek Dimensity/Helio, and Samsung Exynos chipsets.

  1. Download the latest KernelEnhancerV*.zip from the GitHub releases page.
  2. Open Magisk or KernelSU.
  3. Navigate to Modules > Install from Storage and select the zip file.
  4. Reboot your device to apply the kernel parameters.

Note: To prevent conflicting values, do not run KernelEnhancer alongside other all-in-one optimizer modules that modify the same kernel sysctl and CPU governor nodes.
